Customer Mailing Lists (ListServ)

What is a ListServ?

LISTSERV® is a system that allows you to create, manage, and control electronic mailing lists on your corporate network or on the Internet. We offer three mailing lists for our customers: TEXAN-L, NetMgr-L, and CCTS-L.

TEXAN-L ListServ

The TEXAN-L ListServ is for Tex-AN customers. It disseminates information relating to Tex-AN and provides a forum for questions and open, two-way discussion about Tex-AN.

Please note that after you have joined the TEXAN-L ListServ, replies (by default) go back to the list – meaning all subscribers to the TEXAN-L List. Use FORWARD to send a copy to an individual, not everybody.

NetMgr-L ListServ

This one-way, announcement-only list notifies customers of issues relating to DIR network maintenance outages, network upgrades, emergency maintenance, and similar issues that may affect your connection to the Internet and your connection to the DIR network. Replies to this list go to the DIR Network Operations Center (NOC) or the original author of the announcement. Only DIR NOC staff can post to this list.

CCTS-L ListServ

This one-way, announcement-only list notifies CCTS customers of issues relating to telephone maintenance, switch upgrades, emergency maintenance, and similar issues that may affect your telephone service in the Austin Capitol Complex. Replies to this list go to the DIR CCTS staff or the original author of the announcement. Subscriptions are restricted to CCTS customers only. Only DIR CCTS staff can post to this list.

Subscribing to a ListServ
