Topic: Policy Driven Adoption for Accessibility (PDAA) Overview
Guest Speakers: Jeff Kline, Statewide EIR Accessibility Coordinator, Texas DIR
Description: DIR just released a new solicitation (Education IT Products and Services) that contains a request for responding vendors to include information about the state of their accessibility policy and the implementation of that policy. This solicitation is a pilot for the use of PDAA in future procurement solicitations.
The presentation will provide an overview of PDAA, its rationale, the multistate workgroup that participated in the initiative, and the materials that were developed in support of that initiative.

The PESO Working Group provides a forum for addressing policy and technology issues related to improving access to government information and services via the Internet. PESO meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month. Membership is open to all government entities and the public.
