Public Electronic Services On-the-Internet (PESO) Working Group

The PESO Working Group was established to provide a forum for addressing policy and technology issues related to improving access to government information and services via the Internet/Intranet or Extranet. Membership is open to all government, public and private entities.

As stewards of the State of Texas, we have been directed by law and conscience to incorporate accessibility into the collective culture or our agencies. And while our intentions are true, often we lack the tools and understanding of how to accomplish this goal. As such, we would like to invite you to join us for a discussion on the principles of assessing for accessibility.

What you can expect:

1. Short overview of evaluation types.
2. Are we just talking Use Cases?
3. Tools, tools and more tools.
4. Open Forum: Accessibility review of a product.

The PESO Working Group meets the second Wednesday of each month from 10:00–11:30 am. Changes to this schedule will be posted prior to the monthly meeting.
