TPOC 2004 Annual Report
RETIRED NOVEMBER 2005
Telecommunications Planning and Oversight Council
November 1, 2004
The Telecommunications Planning and Oversight Council (TPOC) is legislatively mandated to report annually to the DIR Board of Directors and to the users of the Capitol Complex Telephone System (CCTS) and the Texas Agency Network (TEX-AN). The report includes information on service objectives and performance measures, accounting and financial performance, cost savings, trends in network use, rate information for network services, and an outsourcing review.
This Annual Report addresses these issues and includes recommendations to the DIR Board of Directors, highlights from fiscal 2004, a summary of DIR telecommunications tactical initiatives for fiscal 2005, and descriptions of CCTS and TEX-AN.
