RETIRED SEPTEMBER 2006 – Replaced by the TexasOnline 2006 Status Report
TexasOnline Authority
September 1, 2004
The TexasOnline Status Report describes the convenient and cost-effective services delivered to the public in the two preceding years through www.TexasOnline.com, the state’s official Web site. The report details upcoming projects planned for the site and describes how the TexasOnline Authority believes that the portal can serve as an engine for transforming and reducing the cost of government in Texas.
The TexasOnline Authority presents in this report a series of recommendations for consideration by the 79th Legislature that, if implemented, would position TexasOnline at the forefront of the nation’s e-government portals and place state and local government in Texas at the fingertips of its citizens.
