Council Meetings

Open meetings

The Council will periodically meet at locations around the state. The purpose of these meetings are to measure progress, address issues before the Council, and conduct other such business necessary to meet the objectives of the Council. The meetings are open to any interested parties, subject to space limitations. The Council may enter into a closed session when discussing matters that are confidential, sensitive or otherwise inappropriate for public disclosure.

Request to attend an open meeting

If you are interested in attending an open meeting, send your request for registration to Chandra Thompson. Registration will be granted on a first come, first served basis and subject only to available space. Attendance for non-members is a courtesy and is for observation only. Observers are not invited to address the council or participate in council discussions.

Closed meetings

The council meets every other week via teleconference in closed sessions. These calls are working meetings that focused on producing the report required by Senate Bill 988.
